These UK dating shows are the most likely to lead to love, marriage and children

We all love a dating show, and as season two of Love is Blind came to a climax, we have a feeling it wasn’t just us that were left wondering which couples have stayed together

Here at Foxy Bingo, we scoured through each of the thousands of couples produced by six of the nation’s favourite dating programmes to reveal which are most likely to lead to love, marriage and children.

It appears that if you’re looking for a serious relationship, Love is Blind is the show for you, as it is the most successful dating show for couples staying together, getting engaged and eventually married.

Most likely to produce couples that stay together: Love is Blind (36%)

Love is Blind, the social experiment come dating show, follows fifteen men and fifteen women all hoping to find love. They date for 10 days in purpose-built "pods" where they can talk to each other but not see each other.

Five of the fourteen couples from the two seasons of Love is Blind have remained together (36%) including Lauren and Cameron from season one who are still together and Jarrette and Lyanna from the latest season.

Love Island came in at second with almost a quarter (24%) of couples remaining together, followed by Married at First Sight (22%)

The least likely couples to stay together however are those from First Dates where just two couples out of around 770 stayed together.

Most likely to produce couples that get married or engaged: Love is Blind (29%)

Love is Blind also topped the list for couples who are engaged or married (29%) with four out of fourteen couples moving to the next stage of their relationship.

The show format makes this more likely as the couples can only meet face to face after a marriage proposal is accepted. Following a couples' retreat to Mexico, they plan weddings to be held a month later, where, at the altar, each participant decides whether to say, "I do."

Married at First Sight is the second-best dating show in this category, with two of the nine couples (22%) currently engaged, whereas Too Hot to Handle hasn’t had any.

Most likely to lead to children – Love Island (13%)

Love Island is the only show to have led to children, with Cally Beech and Luis Morrison being the first couple to have a baby. Other couples who now have children include Jess Shears and Dominic Lever, Cara Delahoyde and Nathan Massey and Camilla Thurlow and Jamie Jewitt.
