Get ready, me Foxy friends, 'cause I'm goin' to introduce you to a mate of mine, Cornelius the Cat. This flabby feline stars in his own slot, called Cornelius, by NetEnt. And as well as the pleasure of his company, players get to benefit from a whole range of bonuses and extras built around the Cash Drop feature.

The game grid consists of 5-reels, 4-rows with 1,024 ways to win. All the player needs is identical symbols on adjacent reels, starting from the first left. Low-paying symbols are 10-A card ranks, and the premiums are fish-shaped toys, tins of food, milk bottles, and Cornelius himself. Cornelius accepts bets of 0.20 to 400.00 per spin.

It looks like Cornelius is one of those cats that’s so domesticated there isn’t a bit of wild left in him, and there are no Wilds in this game either. 

But not to worry, me furry friends, there are a couple of extra symbols to help you get yer furry little paws on some prizes. The first is the cash drop symbol, which will spice up the base game with possible cash prizes, as I'll explain below.  

The next is the Scatter, which triggers the Free Spins, and that, me foxy friends, is where things get interesting, both in the gameplay and symbols with an Up, Golden Up, Adder and Multiplier symbol all making an appearance. 

When three of the Cash Drop symbols are in view, the Cash Drop feature kicks in. When it triggers from the base game, the symbols have a value of 0.25 to 3x the bet. Three respins are awarded, and any new Cash Drop symbols landing resets the counter to three. During the respins, Cash Drop symbols move down the reels one position at a time, and their values are collected in Cornelius's bowl after every spin.  

Three or more Scatter symbols anywhere in view award three Free Spins where the special symbols are active. This might seem like a stingy offering from such a fat cat, but the Free Spins reset to three every time one of the special symbols land, and these are: 

Cash Drop Symbol - these fall down the reels one position per spin, like in the base game.

Adder - adds between 0.1x to 0.3x, to all Cash Drop symbols in view. These symbols stick when they land, increasing the Cash Drop values on every spin.

Multiplier – increases all Cash Drop symbols and Adder symbols in view by x2.

Up Symbol - moves all of Multiplier symbols and Cash Drop symbols up one row to keep them on the reels longer.

Golden Up – moves all of the Cash Drop symbols and Multiplier symbols to the highest position on the reel. 

I’ve got a soft spot for all games that feature furry animals, even ones as soft as Cornelius. But I’d still have no problem recommending this game if I didn’t. It’s a light-hearted slot with some interesting features in the Free Spins. But the cat doesn’t always get the cream, so remember to gamble responsibly, and set a loss limit for every session.
