Adventures Beyond Wonderland Live

Foxy has something a bit different for all me Foxy fans today. A fast-paced Live Casino game from Playtech where a revolving studio and augmented reality come together to take players on a trip down the rabbit hole.

Adventures Beyond Wonderland is based on Playtech’s popular slot of the same title, brought to life by live dealers dressed as the slot’s iconic characters. They will, however, be much more helpful than the original inhabitants of Wonderland in guiding players through the unique Wonderspins and the three great bonus rounds!

The game starts off with spins on a Wheel of Fortune. Players can bet on five different numbers,  1, 2, 5, and 10, and three bonus rounds. The higher the number, the fewer segments on the wheel it occupies, with number 1 having 22 segments, and number 10 only 4. There are also eight segments dedicated to the WonderSpins, Magic Dice, and Mystery Bonus Spins bonus rounds. 

If the wheel lands on the player's number, they receive a cash prize of their stake multiplied by the winning number. If the wheel lands on a bonus round segment, players who have bet on that bonus play the round. So far, so simple, me furry friends, just a straightforward wheel of fortune game, right?

It’s when the bonus rounds kick in that the whole slightly surreal atmosphere of Wonderland takes hold, ‘cause it’s here that you’ll get to see the White Rabbit and other characters in action.

Although the base game is fun, it’s not that original, following the same gameplay as Spin A Wheel, another popular Live game by Playtech. In Adventures Beyond Wonderland, the real action in terms of potential wins and effects comes with the bonus rounds.

For the bonus rounds, there are WonderSpins with 2 and 5 spins, Magic Dice, and the Mystery Bonus Spins, where players will get a chance at either the Card Soldiers or the Caterpillar Mystery Multiplier.

The WonderSpins sees an animated White Rabbit spin famous Alice in Wonderland characters, the Queen of Hearts, Dodo, Door Mouse, Cheshire Cat,  the Mad Hatter, and The White Rabbit, around on separate reels to award the lucky winners extra multipliers.

The Magic Dice bonus is played on a board of 6 columns and 4 rows. The fields are occupied by move-up arrows, individual multipliers, or whole board multipliers. Players pick a red or white dice which is rolled in an automatic shaker, to try and climb the board and claim the 100 x multiplier that sits at the top.

Mystery Bonus Spins will randomly launch either The Caterpillar Mystery Bubble or the March of the Card Soldiers. In either of these games, players have the chance of picking up some great multipliers.

Playtech's Adventures Beyond Wonderland Live is a pretty unique experience. The introduction of Alice in Wonderland characters to a Live Casino game was a stroke of genius by Playtech.
