Sheriff of Nottingham 2

We're off to the streets of mediaeval Nottingham to join Robin Hood and his Merry Men, plus Maid Marion, in trying to separate the evil Sheriff from his ill-gotten gains. 

Sheriff of Nottingham 2 from iSoftBet builds on the original game with some extra features and twists to the gameplay and will also give players a tour of the dungeons beneath Nottingham castle when the gameplay switches to there from the streets of the city for the bonus round. But don't worry, me foxy friends, Robin Hood is always nearby ready to break you out.  

Symbols include some very flash 10 to A card ranks as low pays, paying a max of 2.5 to 5 x the bet for five. The premiums are a parchment, axes, swords, and a tapestry coat of arms, worth 7.5 to 25 times the bet for five of a kind. Bet levels range from 0.20 to 20.00 per spin.

The Sheriff himself is the Wild, standing in for all other regular symbols to form wins in the base game. He's more true to form in the Sheriff Respins bonus round, locking up the merry men, but I'll tell you about that in a minute. Money symbols are the Scatter, triggering the Sheriff Respins.

Sheriff of Nottingham 2 has a huge amount of bonus features, split between the randomly triggered Pick a Scroll feature and the Sheriff Respins bonus round. 

Pick a Scroll can trigger on any spin. Three scrolls appear, and players choose one to reveal one of the following modifiers:

• Bonus –triggers the Sheriff Respins bonus round.
• Sheriff Wilds – adds 4 to 10 Wilds to the reels.
• Win Spin – guarantees a win on the next spin.
• Mystery Symbols – mystery symbols appear on the reels and transform into the same symbol type.
• Wanted Spin – the Sheriff lands and collects all the money symbols on the grid..
• Stacked Wilds – stacked wilds are nudged onto the reels, with their multiplier going up by one with every nudge. 
• Sheriff Respins 

Three money symbols trigger the Sheriff Respins with three respins. These take place deep in the Sheriff's dungeons, and only Money symbols, Merry Men Symbols, and the Sheriff can land on the reels. Each of the Merry Men, and Maid Marion, of course, will award a modifier, opening reels, doubling the prizes, giving more spins and more.  

Every Money Bag or Merry Men symbol that lands adds one more respin to the total and sticks. But when the Sheriff appears, he scoops up all the gold and arrests the Merry Men, clearing the positions for new symbols to land. If all five Merry Men make it onto the reels during the round, the final prize is multiplied by 5. 

Sheriff of Nottingham 2 is an impressive sequel to a great original. Just beware, the greedy Sheriff doesn't manage to get his hands on all your gold and keep some in reserve by setting a loss limit before you play.
