Mighty Black Knight

The Mighty Black Knight slot is the latest release in Barcrest's Black Knight series. Set deep in the dungeons of a medieval castle, the 5x8 grid remains half-locked behind a hanging steel portcullis. But fear not, the Mighty Black Knight can show up at any time to burst this open and unlock the complete grid!

This increases the number of active paylines from 50 to 100, giving everyone possible chances to form potentially winning combinations. The betting range starts at 0.50 and goes up to 250.00 credits per spin. Foxes on a budget can also place lower bets of 0.10, 0.20, 0.30, and 0.40, but this reduces the number of active paylines to 10, 20, 30, and 40, respectively.

The Black Knight proves his might in this game by acting as the Wild. He can replace all the regular symbols, including the King, to help form potential line wins. And this mighty warrior is key to unlocking the Mighty Reels feature, which I'll tell you all about below.

The Knight's shield is the Scatter, triggering the Free Spins when three or more are fully or partially in view.

It doesn't take attention to detail to notice that every spin starts with half the grid locked behind a portcullis. But our Mighty Black Knight can change all that. If he lands fully stacked on a reel, he'll pop open the portcullis, unlocking the remainder of the grid. This activates another 50 paylines and, hopefully, lots of possible winning combinations. 

The Knight's shield will unlock free spins with three, four or five symbols landing anywhere in view. This will award 8, 12 or 20 Free Spins, respectively. And don't worry, the round can be retriggered while it's playing out with three or more Scatters. These will award the same amount of Free Spins as in the base game, at the same bet level.  

Many Barcrest slots feature The Big Bet option, which gives players the chance to boost their win potential by placing, well, a bet. 20 Big Bet: Mighty Reels kick in when the Black Knight lands only partially in view.

50 Big Bet: Gives the same as the previous two options, plus any Wilds that land stick for the remainder of the spins.
