There are no card ranks in this game, which makes a nice change. Instead, all the cartoon style symbols on the reels are themed. The low-paying symbols are a coconut palm, an orchid, a golden tikki mask and a pile of gold coins, both hidden in secret rooms in a forgotten temple, and two statues lost in the jungle. These award prize for three or more on a payline. Payouts start at 5x the line bet for three of the coconut palms on a payline, and go all the way up to 125x the line bet for five of the larger statue. 

The premiums are living inhabitants of the island, a snake, butterfly, dreamy-looking tiger, a confused monkey and a rather pompous parrot. Payouts for these start at 2x the line bet for a combination of just 2 on a payline, and go all the way up to 950x the line bet for five of the parrots. To form a win, symbols must land on adjacent reels, starting from the leftmost reel, on a payline. 

The volcano symbol is the Wild. This can land anywhere on the grid to help form line wins, and the wooden tike mask is the Scatter, which triggers the Free Spins round. 

Uninhabited pacific islands are pretty quiet places, generally speaking, with not much going on. And this is reflected in the bonuses of Lost Island, with not much going on apart from a Free Spins round, which we'll get to in a minute. But the game can still offer some thrills even in the base spins, thanks to the Wild and Scatter, both of which give awesome payouts as well as their oher functions. 

For a start, the Wild doubles all wins that it helps to form. It also awards very generous payouts when it makes its own combinations on a payline. These start at 10x the line bet for 2, and 3, 4, or 5 will award 200x, 2000x, and 9500x the line bet, respectively. 

The Scatter awards 2x, 5x, 200x, and 450x the total bet for 2, 3, 4, or 5 anywhere in view on the grid. It also triggers the bonus round when three or more appear. The bonus round starts with 15 Free Spins, and can be retriggered up to 15 times. During the Free Spins, all wins are doubled. 

Lost Island might not look that impressive when you first open it. But beneath the calm exterior, the volcano is constantly rumbling and can explode at any time.
