Book of Slots are usually Egyptian/Mayan themed with a brave, rugged explorer type as the hero and most valuable symbol. So Inspired Gaming decided to shake things up by setting their latest Book of release in the Emerald Isle.

But don't worry, my foxy friends, because apart from the greener than usual background and a cheerful leprechaun instead of an explorer, Book of the Irish delivers exactly what you have come to expect from this type of game. 

Low-paying symbols are card ranks 10 to Ace. The themed premiums are a toadstool, shoe, pot of gold, and a leprechaun. At least three matching low pays on a payline, starting from the leftmost reel are needed for a win, but prizes for the premiums start with just two. 

The maximum payout for regular symbols is 500x the line bet for five leprechauns across a payline. The betting range is from 0.10 to 50.00 per spin, which makes the line bet range from 0.01 to 5.00.

Just like in all 'Book Of' slots, the actual Book is both the Wild and the Scatter, making it the most valuable symbol in the game. It does its thing as a Wild, substituting for regular symbols to form wins when one or two land. 

It acts as a Scatter when three or more land, triggering the Free Spins round and awarding payouts of 2 x, 20 x, and 200 x the stake for 3, 4, or 5. 

Three or more of the Book symbol award ten Free Spins. Apart from the theme, Inspired have stuck with the tried and tested formula of other Book of slots. This means the big boost to win potential during the Free Spins comes from an expanding symbol. 

This is chosen at random from the paytable at the start of the round and will expand to cover the entire reel whenever it lands in the Free Spins. It will also award Scatter pays for three or more anywhere on the reels. 

Players also have the option of activating the Gamble Feature. If it's turned on, it will offer the chance to gamble any win over 5 x the stake for either more cash or Free Spins. Two wheels, divided into red or green sections, appear on the screen. The one on the left will increase the win, and the one on the right will award Free Spins. Players spin one, and if it lands on green, they claim their prize. If it is red, then they forfeit their latest win. 

Like I said, apart from the theme, this is a standard Book of slot that's going to appeal to many of my Foxy Bingo family who are already fans of the whole Book of concept. No surprise but good fun all the same. It's also highly volatile, so always set a loss limit before playing. Good Luck.
