Big Bass - Keeping it Reel

Pragmatic Play and Reel Kingdom came up with a winner in the original Big Bass slot. And they've been milking it ever since. Not that we're complaining, are we, me foxy fans? The studios aren't being lazy and just putting the same game in a different skin. In fact, they're doing the opposite, putting different games in the same skin so each one is familiar but unique. And Big Bass - Keep it Reel is a wonderful addition to the series. 

The symbols will be familiar to any of me Big Bass-lovin’ foxy fans: 10-A card ranks as the lows, and fish symbols, tackle boxes, dragonflies, reels, and floats as the premiums. The betting range is from 0.10 to 250 per spin.  

Players will notice the fish symbols are different sizes. In the base game, these are regular paying symbols, awarding prizes for combos of any three or more on a payline. In the Free Spins, they get much more valuable, as I’ll explain below.

The big bearded Fisherman is Wild, standing in for all regular symbols to help form wins. He’ll only put in an appearance during the Free Spins, which might seem a little mean, but don’t worry. During this round, he’ll do a lot more than just replace other symbols. 

And he can also appear in two different forms, as a regular Wild or a Golden Wild. When he appears as the latter especially, he can help lucky foxes to hook some really big potential wins. The Scatter is a bass leaping out of the water. 

Big Bass Bonanza Keeping it Reel is all about the Free Spins. 3, 4, or 5 Scatters award 10, 15, or 20 free spins, respectively. But just two landing could hook a third onto the reels and trigger the bonus round.  

In the Free Spins, the Cash values attached to the fish symbols become active. When one of the Wilds lands, they’ll hook all the fish off the reels and award the cash to the player. And fish that land without a Wild on the reels are caught in a big net at the top of the grid. They’ll escape from this one by one until a Golden Wild lands and scoops them all up.  

When fish land without a Wild, or Wilds land without any fish symbols, there’s a chance that these will be randomly added to the reels.  

Scatters don't appear in the Free Spins, but the round can still be retriggered. Wilds are collected in a metre, and for every four, ten extra spins are added to the remaining total. They also increase the multiplier for any wins from fish symbols by 2 x, 3 x, and 10. Once the last level has been reached, no more Free Spins can be triggered.
