Thanks to everyone who tuned in to yet another exciting edition of Foxy Bingo Radio. Your host Jim was on hand to bring you an hour of bingo fun, while Bingo Manageress Helen was keeping a close eye on the chat rooms and had plenty of BPs to give away.
Our first guest of the night was the rather bubbly CM Popcorn, who rang with the weeks moderator riddle, "Where will you find roads without cars, forests without trees and cities without houses?" While roomies put their thinking caps on Popcorn gave a big thank you to everyone who attended the Tippy Charity night, which saw us raise an amazing £3085.50 for Breast Cancer Care. Popcorn also tried to rally troops to join her in The Race for Life. Check the forum to see how you can join.
Helen then popped into Funtastic Foxy, to get an update on a special radio version of the Catch the Fox tourney run by CM Joy. Players including Monkeyhager24, Dolphins and Patrickstar had all caught the brush tailed rogue but with almost an hour to go everything was still to play for.
Next guest up was Bigpurse who wanted to take a stab at the Moderator. Her guesses Greece (she heard roads as Rhodes) and a monolopy board werent right but did earn her a batch of BPs for the best wrong answers. Bigpurse also gave a shout to TheBigCheese who was back having fun on the site after her recent illness.
Our Unmask the Alais guest was MsDemoic who joined us from London. MsDemoic let us know that although she spends the day as a dominatrix, she enjoys nothing more than a good old game of bingo. "I love logging on to Foxy and the chat hosts are great," she told an awestruck Jim.
A rather excitable Tankengie then came on after correctly answering her phone with the weeks Secret Saying "Legs Eleven". However, instead of taking the points and running, the rather generous lady decided to donate her 50,000 points to Tippys Charity Appeal. WTG Tankengie! What brilliant players we have!
Helen then gave us an update on whats going on over the next week at Foxy Bingo in her new look Bingo Bulletins. These were quickly followed by Poetry Corner where we heard ditties from Luckbealady and birthday girl Phonedevil.
The highlight of the evening however was our very special surprise guest who was none other than the much missed CM Tippy. Tippy thanked everyone for the support the community has given her since she received her news and let us know that she is getting better by the day. The chat rooms were simply flooded as listeners including April12, Bigcheese and even CM Suzie sent Tippy their love and best wishes.
Rounding off the nights proceedings was Wallflower, who joining us from Blackpool and correctly answered the Moderator Riddle. The answer was a map. With a quick visit over the Funtasic Foxy Room for the results of the tourney - which was won by Tracy1977 - it was time to hang up the headphones and call it a night.
