With Jim still on holiday Helen was again joined by the lovely Anna. The usual fun packed show saw us offering all the usual suspects including Put it to the People, Community News and Screen Test.
First guest of the evening was CHCaz, who joined us to set this weeks Screen Test. Caz, who was on duty in Perfect Ten proved she was Oscar worthy by acting out the following scene with Anna.
CHARACTER A We can make it if we run.
CHARACTER B: No, we can't.
CHARACTER A Why not?
CHARACTER B: Because we are being hunted.
CHARACTER A: Oh God.
CHARACTER B: It's all right.
CHARACTER A: Like hell it is!
As usual it wasnt long until the guesses came flooding in with Treacle25 winning 15,000 bps for the best wrong answer Ice Age 2 and VADER95NASTY netting himself 5 DVDs for the correct answer Jurassic Park.
Our Put it to the People debate talked about the forthcoming football season. Karlos795 though its more of a beautiful pain than a beautiful game. I cant stand it, its all about money, she told us. The players get so much and it costs so much to watch. I know kids who have never been on holiday because their dad spends all the money on watching all the games. Supporting the game was Peter07, who has been an avid Newcastle United fan for 40 years. However even he agreed that the game is not what it use to be The amount players get paid is ridiculous, a rather disillusioned Peter told us.
Other guests of the evening, proud football mammy emmal1976 who told us all about her 9 year old goalkeeping son and Hedgehogx3 who picked her username because she works in a wildlife hospital. I had three baby hedgehogs on my knee when I joined, she told us. Also on the blower was a rather perky Perdy2, who is taking a rather positive outlook on her recent divorce.
We also heard from Cheryl1, who has just had an amazing win on the site. The lucky lady scooped £10,000 last night when playing on Hollywood Stars. Im still in shock, when I found out I had won I just sat there shaking, she told us. I have promised the kids Im going to take them to Disneyland. Its fantastic, everyone on the site has been so supportive.
