Last night’s radio show was all about the Foxy Community with tales of meetings, reunions and blossoming Foxy friendships taking centre stage. As per usual Jim and Helen were on hand to bring you an hour of bingo fun, gossip and that the old favourite, Tally Ho!

First guest of the night was CH Smokey, who joined us for this week’s Where Am I? riddle. ”I live in a place with four kings and queens, but only for races. Some people find me useless and usually there is only one other like me. Who and what am I?” The lovely host also let us know that she had just bought a new Staffy pup called Stella.

As per usual it wasn’t long for the radio email box to be bursting with guesses. The award for best wrong answer went to Beckyboo who thought it was a casino croupier while Marina1976 came on air to give us the correct answer of a joker in a pack of cards.

Our Put it to The People debate of the night was “Should Beckham Be Knighted?” Joining us to give the case on why he should was Karlos75 who said "I think he should, he is looked up to by the kids and doesn’t smoke drink or do anything bad.” Our anti-Becks guest was Ronsjoy, who said, “There are a lot more people who deserve a knighthood more than he does. There are thousands of people who are good role models and they’ll never be knighted." Hear, Hear!

After sending our congratulations to CH Trotwood for being crowned Miss May in our Monthly host title and our best wishes to Daydreamer29, who is to marry at the weekend, it was time to speak to CH Terri, to hear all the gossip from the Race for Life. Terri let us all know what a wonderful time she took part in the race with Popcorn and Daydreamer. She also gave a big thank you to Lightening, Jophie and her hubby plus everyone else who came down to show their support. “It was a fabulous day and thanks to everyone who supported and sponsored us,” she told us.

As 8.30pm approached it was time to cross over live to Lucky Stars for the evening’s coverall jackpot. First number out was 24, followed by 75 and roomies such as Woozers, Bigpurse and Old Slippers kept their figures crossed for hitting the big time. After a nail-biting game, the loot was split four ways between Dobber, Marge29, Holly290 and Shirle. WTG to you all!

Next up was SuzeyQ, who had amazingly just met up with her ex RAF friend, Treacle25 in the Foxy Chatrooms. “I logged on to a have a few games of bingo and couldn’t believe it when we realised who it was. It’s been ten years since we last saw each other and there she was playing bingo.” The pair will be joining us next week so make sure you tune in. And if one amazing story wasn’t enough we heard back from Angiebaby who told us the second part of the story of reuniting her dad with the brother he hadn’t seen in 69 years.

Wrapping up the show was a message from Walshy007, who thanked the lovely Jophie for the help she has given her since being signed off work. “Jophie has been up my house looking after me, cleaning and doing my washing etc. I love you Jophie soooo much.” With all the love flying round it was time to say good bye. Don’t forget to tune in next week when we’ll be joined by Aishelyne from last year’s Big Brother who’ll be joining us to let us know what she thinks of this year’s fledgling series.

Tally Ho for now.
