Foxy Bingo Cruise to Bruges - 13th to 15th October 2008
A big Thank you goes out to everyone who joined us on the 3rd Foxy Bingo Cruise to Bruges.
It was bingo, dancing and chocolate ahoy, as the Good Ship Foxy made her first voyage to the beautiful city of Bruges.
With a passenger list made up of a fabulous array of roomies, chat hosts and various members of Foxy HQ, she set sail from Hull for two nights of Foxy fun.
Three big cash games with prizes totalling over £3,000 were played, and it seemed that lady luck was sailing with Owens1 and Mysterygal22, who scooped £405 and £1171 respectively.
"I used to think winning never happened to me, but now it has. Thanks Foxy," a jubilate Owens1 told us while receiving her prize.
After the last numbers were called it was time to hit the dance floor, with CHs Lippy, Terri and BMHelen strutting their stuff to the likes of Abba's Mama Mia and Girls Alouds Love Machine, while atrulyirishlass was a credit to her nation, taking to the floor for 'Ill Tell Me Ma'.
The next morning the bleary eyed crew headed for Bruges, with most falling for the quaint city's medieval charms.
Canal boat trips and horse and carriage rides proved popular, but nothing could beat the wonderful array of tasty treats on sale, with everything from chocolate squirrels to luxurious truffles being snapped up left right and centre.
After almost clearing nearly every shelf in town, it was time to head back to port and get ready for another night of bingo and partying.
And as we sailed back to Blighty, you didnt need to be in the crow's nest to see that new friendship and lasting memories were on the horizon.
"Ive had a fabulous time," said Rarah, whilst Slyone2 remarked on how good it was to finally put faces to the names of her roomie mates.
