LORRAINE WILDING - FOXY MUM OF THE YEAR 2011
Why Joanne nominated her mum
Hi there!
Where can i start to tell you about my simply wonderful mum?! My mum has been a player on Foxy Bingo for around 4 years now (wild54) and we both love getting together for a game of bingo a good chat in your rooms.
My mum is quite simply my best friend and i really dont know what i would do without her, she is there for me night and day and is the most amazing nanny to all of her 7 grandchildren putting us and them before everything else in her life. She would give her last pound to make us happy and leave herself barefoot in the process.
After being with my partner for almost 8 years we have finally decided to get married and knowing that funds are tight decided to go for a small wedding that would fit our budget. My mum and dad simply wouldnt have this and have done everything in their power to give us the day we both truly wanted, we couldnt have done it without them and now we are counting down the last 5 weeks before our big day. My Mum has not only giving us the dream day that we wanted but she has also booked us a 2 night mini break after the wedding and is taking our 2 little girls so that we can have a little honeymoon!!
I dont even know where to start to thank her, no words, actions or gifts could ever ever be enough to recognise what she does for us everyday of her life and she doesnt even realise that she is doing anything above and beyond a mothers duty.
I would give anything for my mum to win this just so that i could let her see just how special she is and just how much all of her 3 children, son and daugher in laws and grandchildren love her and would go to the end of the earth and back for her just as she does for us everyday!
My 2 little girls wont ever realise how lucky they are to have an Nanny that will play with them until she has no energy, take them to the park until she can no longer stand and give her last breath just to see them laugh. She does all of this with a great big smile on her face and without 1 hint of expectation of anything from us.
She has spent her life looking after us and never fails to have to be there. They even came into my house and redecoated when we was on holiday because they knew we couldnt afford to and didnt have the time to do it ourselves.
My Mums house is a happy house and is an open door to everyone, even my friends call her Mum as she has been a parent to 2 of them when they had no one of their own. Even growing up she would be the Mum that all of our friends would go to for advice, help and a sholder to cry on, and she is always there.... with a cup of tea, a listening ear and a reassuring hug.
I cant speak any higher of her, she is my world and i would be a different and lost person without her. I can only hope to be a fraction of the Mum to my children that she has been to me, I love her unconditionally!
I hope you will consider my mum for this prize!
Thank you,
Joanne Wilding
